Courses

The CHAMP project develops and provides free training and education opportunities for community health advocates. These classes ensure advocates have access to up-to-date healthcare coverage program and policy information available for uninsured families in California.

Comprehensive information on program options, eligibility and screening are introduced and reinforced through interactive discussions and in-class exercises. Ample time is given to address programmatic issues and systems barriers advocates encounter when assisting families. Materials provided offer resources, useful forms, and assistor tips which facilitate community outreach and enrollment.
